A custom display typeface design was conceived for the redesign of three seven-inch single album covers for the band ELO. Drawing inspiration from the band's ability to swirl sound around the listener, back and forth, from the right ear to the left, the typeface uses a grid based on perfect concentric circles to give the feeling of vinyl spinning on a turntable. The result is an abstract, but well-rounded typeface.
